The UkeSchool.com Tuning Lab is a fun, interactive place to study and explore the laws of physics that govern pretty music. While no ukulele player (or other instrument besides the Pedal Steel) needs to know any of this stuff to have a good time, if you are interested in the math and physics that relate to the ukulele, or any stringed instrument, this is the place to indulge.

Sadly, UkeSchool is very young, and the Tuning Lab is down the list of things to make. You can track the construction process in our construction blog. The good news (Aug2008) is that I'm developing a series of pages about Ukulele Tuning in the Real world for the Basic Lessons. (This has been completed, and can be found here.) There are a few oddities that I really shouldn't include there, that will likely end up here!
